weekend update

1. My parents' new car has all-leather cow interior (bad) but has front seats that heat up pleasantly at the touch of a button (good) and can be adjusted in eight different directions (good).
2. The Minneapolis Science Museum is the coolest thing ever (way better than the Museum of Science and Industry). We watched a video of someone's actual brain surgery and then looked at our split ends and skin blemishes under 30x magnification, among other cool activities intended originally for ten-year-olds.
3. My sister and her boyfriend look disturbingly alike. Which I guess would mean he looks like the rest of us.
4. We ate a lot.
5. While the rest of the family was in Minnesota, my brother went to an auction and bought a right-hand-drive 1989 Jeep Cherokee--bringing the total number of cars they own to (approximately) seven.
