If a cow ever got the chance...

Among the extremely interesting things I acquired this weekend:

-A five-pound bag of Gala apples

-A medium-sized piece of steel with arbitrary holes drilled in it, made by my brother; he says it is used to attach pieces of racecar to other pieces of racecar, or would have if he hadn't screwed it up in some way, which is why he gave it to me

-A pint glass that lists the locations of all four of Tall Paul's bars in the central Wisconsin area

-An eight-inch-high, sort-of-hideous green glass octopus from the Minneapolis Science Museum; it has one broken tentacle which is how I got it for four dollars (score...)

-A book entitled Love, War, and Circuses: The Age-Old Relationship Between Elephants and Humans, also from the science museum's clearance table

-A jar of pumpkin butter
