If a cow ever got the chance...

Everything feels ridiculously easy right now. C and I are moving to a two-bedroom apartment in Ukrainian Village (gorgeous, top floor, big kitchen, lots of light, five blocks from JME). L, my beautiful hippie friend from college, is going to spend a month in Chicago to volunteer with the Kerry campaign. I made a new friend last week; we stayed up until 2:30 discussing polyamory (which deep down I still think is kind of stupid, but to each her own). Am eating a baked potato with green peppers, broccoli, barbecue sauce, and mustard, and I am ditching work in 2 hours to pick Mr. NY up from the Greyhound station. The air is shimmery and the ground is holding me up.
